I have practiced law for 13 years and have practiced family law exclusively for 10 years. My practice is dedicated to provide each client the most effective way to get through the legal process, whether they are divorcing or have non-divorce family law issues. I believe in the Collaborative law process because it provides people a better way to resolve their legal family issues. Resolving divorce and/or co-parenting issues is difficult enough without the adversarial framework inherent in the court process. Collaborative divorce gives people a way to resolve their divorce and other family law issues in a collaborative “solution oriented” process. Traditional litigation can add to the distress and pain of already hurting children and parents. By focusing on problem solving and working jointly to reach solutions that serve the whole family, the collaborative process can get families through the legal process in a less adversarial and destructive way.
